Ardkinglas Estate
Ardkinglas Estate remains stocked with approximately 2150 sheep.
Sheep came off Benvalagan and Trosgiche hirsels in 1999c.
Alastair MacCallum the only shepherd employed by Ardkinglas Estate, self employed shepherds and neighbouring shepherds were brought in to help.
Big sheep shed built at Clachan 1993.
Cairndow Estate
1994 - The Findlays 10 year tenancy on Achadunan and Ardno ended and Cairndow Estate was split into three estates, Strone, Achadunan and Ardno.
Strone Estate
Sheep went off Achadunan, Leaichdain, Coire Creagach, Beinn Chorranach, part Beinn Ime and Beinn Vane hirsels in 1994, these hills are now owned by Strone Estate.
1997 - 200 sheep on Ben Ime and Beinn Chorranach, also the fields between Glaschoine and the head of the Loch Fyne, partnership between Strone estate and John MacNaughton.
Achadunan Estate
Ownes Achrioch and Cruach hirsels.
Achadunan and Achrioch bottom of hill is now stocked with Highland Cattle, owned by Achadunan Estate.
Achadunan fields are rented to J Jackson and Son, of Pole Farm, Lochgoilhead who have approximately 100/200 blackface sheep.
Ardno Estate
Ardno fields are rented to John MacNaughton, Glendarual. Approximately 100 black face sheep.
J Jackson and Son rented the fields from the late 1990 onwards.
Ballie Beag??
Average wool price - the wool price dropped slightly in the 1990, but the cost of shearers rose making it not worth taking the fleece off the sheep, it didn't cover the cost of shearers.

£15.50 top price ewe at Dalmally 22nd September 1990
£29 - £30 top price for a wether lamb was £39.20 sold at Stirling on 6th November 1996.
£40 - top wether lamb sold at Dalmally 17th January 1997.
Average cast ewe price - £29.
